Ordering & Payment

1. How do I place an order at Bolas Underwear?
It’s easy:

  • Choose your product and size

  • Add it to your cart

  • Go to “Checkout” and enter your details

  • Choose a payment method (iDEAL, Bancontact, Credit Card, PayPal)

  • You’ll receive an order confirmation by email right away

2. I didn’t receive a confirmation—what now?
Check your spam folder. Still nothing? Contact us at [email protected].

3. Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order hasn’t been processed or shipped yet, we can modify it. Please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone and have your order number ready.

Shipping & Delivery

4. How fast will my order be delivered?
Orders placed on business days before 15:00 (if in stock) ship the same day. Delivery within the Netherlands and Belgium typically takes 1–2 business days. Within Europe 6 - 9 days

5. What are the shipping costs?

  • Free shipping on orders from €35

  • Orders under €35: €5 shipping (NL & BE)

6. Can I track my parcel?
Yes. You will automatically receive a track & trace email once your parcel has shipped.

Undelivered Parcels & Insurance

7. My parcel hasn’t arrived—what should I do?

  • Check the track & trace.

  • Please wait 3–5 business days.

  • Then contact our customer service: [email protected].

8. What does Bolas do if a parcel is lost?

  • We report it to DHL immediately.

  • The investigation typically takes 48/72 hours.

  • If the parcel cannot be found, we’ll ask you to complete a claim form.

  • In case of theft (parcel marked as delivered), please file a police report.

  • After we receive your claim form, we’ll send a replacement at no extra cost.

9. Are your parcels insured?
Yes. We ship every parcel insured, so you’re protected against loss or damage during transit.

 

Sizing & Fit

10. How do I know my size?
Use the size chart on our product pages. Measure your waist and compare it to the chart. Still unsure? Email us at [email protected].

11. Do your boxers fit true to size?
Yes, our fits follow the European size standard. Between sizes? Choose the larger size for extra comfort.

12. What’s the difference between a boxer, trunk, and brief?

  • Boxer brief: longer leg, more coverage

  • Trunk: shorter leg, close fit

  • Brief: no legs, lots of freedom of movement

 

Materials & Fabrics

13. What materials do you use?
Our boxer shorts are made from cotton, bamboo, or lyocell (TENCEL™), with a premium 210 gsm fabric weight and double lining at the bottom and front.

14. What are the benefits of bamboo or lyocell?
Both are breathable, antibacterial, gentle on the skin, and more eco-friendly than conventional cotton.

15. Which material is best for warm weather or sports?
Bamboo and lyocell offer excellent moisture management and ventilation—perfect for active days or warm seasons.

 

Washing & Care

16. How should I wash my boxer shorts?

  • Wash at max. 40°C

  • Turn inside out

  • Do not use fabric softener for bamboo or lyocell

  • Prefer air drying

17. Can I tumble-dry my underwear?
Preferably not. Tumble drying accelerates wear—especially for elastics and natural fibers.

18. How long does a boxer short last?

  • Standard boxers (170–190 gsm): 6–12 months

  • Bolas boxers (210 gsm, double lined): 16–24 months with 2–3 wears per week

 

Returns & Exchanges

19. Can I return my order?
Yes, within 30 days of receipt. Conditions: not worn or washed, tried on over your own underwear, and in original condition. Print the return form and fill it in.

20. How can I exchange a product?
Contact us at [email protected] and mention your desired size or item. After contacting us, we will email you a return label.

21. Do I have to pay return costs?
Yes, return shipping is at your expense, unless we made a mistake.
